This webinar focusing on the HISTORY OF ASIANS IN AMERICA, featuring Melany De La Cruz-Viesca, Associate Director of the UCLA Asian American Studies Center and Dr. Edith Wen-Chu Chen, Professor of Asian American Studies at California State University, Northridge. The webinar will be held in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 11:00 am - 12:15 pm PDT / 1:00 pm - 2:15pm CDT / 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm EDT.

Los Angeles Unified School District, We Stand Together: Asian American Voices Town Hall Discussion: The theme of the meeting is, We Stand Together: Asian American Voices, a discussion on the important historical contributions and lived historical experiences of the Asian American community. Participants will hear strategies that develop and sustain environments that represent anti-racist and anti-hate sentiments. This is where UCLA AASC will be launching a new storybook "Vanessa Unmuted" as part of our elementary curriculum development efforts.
